Hi, I'm Abhishek.

I'm a developer from Kathmandu. Most of my work is on the backend: APIs, databases, and the servers they run on. I build the frontend too when a project needs it, so I'm happy taking something from an empty repo to a live site.

Right now I'm studying IT & E-Commerce at Softwarica College (Coventry University, UK). Lately I've been learning how bigger systems hold together: queues, caching, and what happens when one part of the system goes down.

What I work with.

Grouped by where the work actually happens, from the service layer down to what keeps it running in production.

  1. 01

    Server-Side Architecture

Building robust APIs, secure authentication, microservices, relational databases, and background task processing.

    Node.js / Bun / Express / Elysia / PostgreSQL / Redis / Neon

  2. 02

    Real-Time & Event-Driven

Working with message brokers, live socket connections, job queues, in-memory datastores, and state synchronization.

    Kafka / WebSockets / Queues / Caching / Synchronization

  3. 03

    DevOps & Reliability

Containerization, automated deployment pipelines, system monitoring, robust testing, and ensuring high availability.

    Docker / CI/CD / Observability / Testing / Failure Handling

  4. 04

    Cloud & Deployment

The platforms and environments that power modern applications in production.

    Docker / GitHub Actions / Vercel / Cloudflare / Oracle Cloud / Render / Railway / AWS

Things I've built.

A few projects I'm proud of. Two are live right now, and one started at a hackathon.

01Live in production

idealsports.com.np

Website and dashboard for a sports academy

I built the public site and the admin side in Next.js. Staff use the dashboard to manage admissions, attendance and fees. It's live and runs on Vercel.

api.iamscammer.com

Restaurant ordering app with its own server

A Flutter app for restaurant staff to handle tables, orders and menus. The backend is written with Bun and runs on an Oracle Cloud server that I set up and look after myself.

Supply Chain Guardian

Catches malicious npm and Python packages

This started at a hackathon. When a package updates, it looks at what changed in the code, for example something quietly sending data out. A random forest model and a set of hand-written rules decide together whether to block the update before it installs. I'm still working on it.

Tigger

Project management for small teams

Projects, kanban boards and task assignments in one place. When someone moves a task, everyone on the team sees it right away.
